Great food which arrived quickly and at a good temperature. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely go again.
Dec '17 As a bit of a fan of Pizza Hut anyway, it's difficult to write a truly objective review! I have to say, having used several Pizza Huts over the country, in the name of my Google Maps research, this is probably the best one we have dined at. I know they all follow the same model & operate to the same standard, but this one just seemed to go an extra mile & out perform the usual standards! Easily accessible, good parking, friendly welcoming staff, nicely laid out, warm & good varied menu, nice fresh salad & well cooked food is the norm! But the pizzas here seemed to be just that bit nicer. We really enjoyed our meal & would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thanks Pizza Hut for a lovely meal.

Ann and I have been wining and dining in this lovely pub since the first day of its opening. It is very clean. Food is always served on time and well cooked. The glory of this pub is its incredibly friendly staff and management team. (the locals aren't bad either) Some better ale choices would be an icing.
Had dinner here the other night, it was quite busy so we had to sit in the bar area or wait 30 mins. Chose the bar area which was comfy and nicely laid out, the 'comfy' chairs were a bit low for the table. Staff were friendly, service was quick and the food was average - if you're looking for gourmet this isn't the place but it was filling enough. Worth a try but nothing really to make me want to come back. When parking in the hotel next door you can take your £2 ticket in for a refund/discount on your food - nice touch.

Context required as this is a 5 star review: it's a Beefeater. I'm comparing this one with other similar family friendly chain restaurants so please don't take 5 stars to mean fine dining. I ended up here, on my own, as it's next door to the Premier Inn where I was staying. Lone dining is never fun but other than the slight wait to be seated the staff here made sitting on my own a very bearable experience. The food was surprisingly good, both the steak I had for dinner and the cooked breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was cooked to order which made a noticeable difference from the standard hot buffet. The other thing worth noting was the modern decor. It was actually a really nice place to spend some time, even if I was sat on my own.
Stayed at the premier inn for the early May bank holiday. Went in for tea Saturday and Sunday and breakfast Sunday and Monday. Well if I stay here again I will only use this for breakfast and find somewhere else for evening meals. Took along time between starter and main courses on both days. And who I presume was the manageress speaking to a member of staff then storming into the back pushing the door so hard it slammed back against the wall. Not a relaxing atmosphere when staff look like they are short staffed and rushing round to keep up. Breakfast was a pleasant atmosphere where staff walking and calm.
